Those who know me, know that I LOVE dogs.  Since 2009 I have been a volunteer puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.  In a round about way, that led me to Motley Mutts, an amazing dog grooming business (with self-service options!) and its owner Adam.  Adam is probably one of the most generous people I have met.  He donates free baths to dogs in rescues to make them adoption-ready.  When his monthly number of free grooming appointments are used up, many of his patrons will help by dropping off money to cover  those additional and much-needed baths.

Recently Adam has founded Wags for Warriors.  WfW is not-for-profit that rescues dogs from shelters, trains them to be service dogs and then gifts them FREE OF CHARGE to disabled Military Service Members and people with PTSD.  As a fellow member of the volunteer puppy-raising community, it tugged on my heart strings.  Even more because I personally know many service members, and a few who have suffered PTSD due to their dedication to keeping this country safe.  So I did what I could: I donated a day of photography.  People could come, have their dogs photographed and every penny went to WfW.  In this video you can see some of the smiling faces of the dogs who arrived for their glamour shots AND a few pictures of WAGS as a puppy.  Wags is WfW’s first dog.  He is a German Shepherd and was donated to WfW.
